In addition, services such asCloudTrail<\/strong><\/a> and Amazon Macie<\/strong><\/a> enable governance<\/strong>, compliance<\/strong>, detection, and auditing<\/strong>, or CloudHSM<\/strong><\/a> and Key Management Service<\/strong><\/a> allow you to securely generate and manage encryption keys<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Security<\/strong>. At AWS,<\/strong> security<\/strong> is a shared<\/strong> responsibility between the Cloud Provider and the customer. Data sovereignty<\/strong>. Amazon Web Services<\/strong>‘ global network allows you to choose to store data in one or more of the European Regions<\/strong><\/a>, including France<\/strong>, Germany<\/strong>, Ireland<\/strong>, Italy<\/strong>, Sweden<\/strong>, and Spain<\/strong>, starting in 2022. AWS <\/strong>allows you to use its services<\/strong> with the assurance that your customer data<\/strong> will remain in the selected Region<\/strong>. Only a limited number of Amazon services provide data transfer<\/strong> , and the systems are designed to prevent AWS<\/strong> personnel from accessing customer data remotely for any purpose.
Data privacy<\/strong>. AWS is increasing the level of privacy protection<\/strong> with services that enable you to implement privacy controls, including advanced access<\/strong> control, encryption<\/strong> , and logging<\/strong>. AWS only processes customer data in accordance with the instructions documented and shared by the customer, using and sharing content only with consent<\/strong> (as described in the AWS Customer Agreement and AWS GDPR Data Processing Addendum<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
